The Picazor approach

Picazor: share direction

Communicate the thinking behind a visual direction with clarity and context.

Show the thinking, not only the result

Sharing a moodboard is an invitation to discuss a direction. Explain the intended feeling and the decisions a reference is meant to support. That explanation gives others a better way to respond than a simple “like” or “dislike.”

Picazor treats visual communication as part of the creative process. Clear descriptions help collaborators understand what is settled, what remains open, and which details matter most.

Make feedback more useful

Ask specific questions. Does the palette feel right for the audience? Is the contrast too strong? Does the direction support the project goal? Specific prompts lead to feedback you can act on.

Keep revisions purposeful. A new reference should answer a question or resolve a concern, not just add more images. When the direction is clear, it becomes easier to move from inspiration to decisions.
